Changing of Hairstyle AfterSchool, anyone ?

 

After School first made their appearance for SBS Song Festival "S" on 29 December 2008. They performed "Play Girlz" with Son Dam Bi. Few days later, Pledis Entertainment annouced that the group's concept with be heavily shaped after the Pussycat Dolls. Followed was a short teaser video being released. Soon after their debut single, "AH!" hit the market with EP "New Schoolgirl" following right after. In April, Uee was added to the group. After School also also released their second single "Diva". Subsequently, they released their third single "Dream" and worked with Son Dam Bi for another digital single. At this stage, After School's popularity had already been huge and was growing. However, in October, Yoo Soyoung withdrew from the group and was replaced by Raina and Nana. Then came their single " Because Of You", which won them three Mutizen awards, and top several online charts.

In March 2010, Lizzy was added to the group and new concept for their next single album, "Bang" was released. At late 2010, After School was involved in a project album by Pledis Entertainment which had their song "Love Love Love" in the album. Then in 2010, After School was featured in the song "Make It Happen" for Japanese Superstar Namie Amuro for her japanese album. In April, their first full length album titled Virgin was released, and was an immediate hit. At late December 2010, E-Young was announced to be part of the group.

Kahi

• Her Original name is Park Ji-young.
• She was born on December 25, 1980.
  
• She is also the Group leader of After School.
  

Being the leader and the eldest of the group, Kahi had a more matured image as compared to the other members. Even so, Kahi was able to capture the hearts of many fans with her extraordinary dance skills, killer looks and body and her talents. When it comes to her hairstyle, Kahi usually has a longer and slightly wavy style, which is basically a classic look for women more wanted to look more sexy and yet matured. This fits her image as the leader of the group, and the concept of the group.

Jung Ah

• Her Original name is Kim Jung-ah.
• She was born on August 2, 1983.
  
• Former member of girl group Kiss-Five.
  

Jung Ah is actually one of the more older member of the group, just behind Kahi. In recent concepts of the group, Jung Ah had been sporting short hairstyle. This made her look livelier, and at the same time make her look younger. And together with a more vibrant hair color, it made her look as young as her other members.

Jooyeon

• Her original name is Lee Joo-yeon.
• She was born on March 19, 1987.
  

Jooyeon appeared on Invincible Youth as a permanant cast. She had a rather bubbly personality, although she doesn't appear to have much lines in the show. Her hairstyle ranges between medium to medium-long length, and more than usually accompanied by duller hair colors.

Bekah

• Her original name is Rebecca Kim.
• She was born on August 11, 1989.
  
• She was born in Hawaii, USA.
  

Bekah somehow has a more matured, and more masculine look then other members. This is because she is the main rapper of the group. And she is well-known for her powerful and strong style in rapping. She usually sports a more simple hairstyle, opting for straight or simply slight wavy hairstyle.

Uee

• Her original name is Kim Yoo-Jin.
• She was born on April 9, 1988.
  

Uee is labelled as a "Bagel Girl". A Bagel Girl simply refers to a girl who has a rather "baby" and innocent face, and is accompanied with a glamarous figure. And because of her feminine and outstanding looks, she had been involved in many dramas and shows. Due to her feminine image, she usual sports a longer hairstyle, which is usually simple in nature.

Raina

• Her original name is Oh Hye-rin.
• She was born on May 7, 1989.
  
• Joined the group in November 2009.
  
• Part of sub-group Orange Caramel with Nana and Lizzy.
  

Raina's hairstyle usually ranges from medium length to short length hair. When it comes to choosing hair color, Raina is rather versatile. She could go for dull black hair for a concept, and would turn blond in the next. This had help to stand out against the rest of her very outstanding members of After School.

Nana

• Her original name is Im Jin-ah.
• She was born on September 14, 1991.
  
• Joined the group in November 2009.
  
• Part of sub-group Orange Caramel with Raina and Lizzy.
  

Nana usually has a long length hairstyle. Hair color wised, Nana often had brighter and more vibrant colors, like blond, orange or brown. Because of her fairer complection, her haircolor added liveliness to her. This had made her look fair instead of being sickly pale. 

Lizzy

• Her original name is Park Soo-young.
• She was born on July 31, 1992.
  
• Joined the group in March 2010.
  
• Part of sub-group Orange Caramel with Raina and Nana.
  

Lizzy was in the popular variety show Running Man as a permanant cast. She gives people a very cheerful and lively image about her. She usually sports a medium-long length hairstyle, which really suits her image in the group as a girly, cheerful and bubbly girl.

E-Young

• Her original name is Noh Yiyoung.
• She was born on August 16, 1992.
  

E-young is the latest member to be added to the group. Similarly, as a one of the youngest member, she had a more girlish and cute looks. To suit her image, her hair is often of medium-long length, and simple hair colors.
