C.N.Blue’s debut has been well received by fans and critics with many calling their music “refreshingly different” from any thing else currently on the Kpop charts.  News, pictures, and videos from their debut showcase yesterday were plastered all over Korean newspapers and Kpop sites.  Some media have even begun to call them ‘The Beatles’ of Korea.  That’s kind of a lot to try to live up to, so let’s just say that the boys got off to an awesome start and let’s see where they go from there.  The band made up of Lee Jong Hyun lead guitarist/vocalist, drummer Kang Min Hyuk, bassist and maknae Lee Jung Shin (who replaced former member Kwon Kwang Jin), and lead vocalist/guitarist/leader Jung Yong Hwa have handled their debut with flying colors while overcoming nerves.

In this clip C.N.Blue and ZE:A introduce themselves and are interviewd by Minho of SHINee and Uee of After School.

And here’s their debut live performance on television. I must say the boys look oh-so-good in white suits and their performance was stellar for a bunch of newbies.

The band owes much of its hype to Yong Hwa who starred in the Kdrama You’re Beautiful.  Fans of the show who fell in love with his character Shin Woo, have been avid in their support of C.N. Blue.  Not much is known about all of the band members so I’m sure fans can’t wait to get to know them all a little bit better.  I wonder what radio or variety shows we’ll see them on next?
